The Launch of the 2016 Naylor Engineering National Hillclimb & Sprint Championship will take place at the AXA Classic Car Show at the RDS Simmonscourt. The Championship Launch will be at 3pm on Sunday 6th March and will be the centrepiece of the Motorsport Ireland display. All are welcome to come and see what Hillclimbing in Ireland has to offer in 2016.
In order to showcase the diverse range of cars that Hillclimbs cater for, there will be a Radical SR8 on display which will represent the faster exotic cars. On the other end of the scale will be a low budget Fiat Seicento from the very popular Cento Challenge class 1B. You will find these cars at the Motorsport Ireland stand.
The Launch will see the official unveiling of the recently commissioned Hillclimb promotional video plus interviews with Championship sponsor and drivers conducted by the event’s MC, Mr Leo Nulty. In addition, Simon McKinley’s White Escort MkII will be on display on the Irish Escort Club’s stand. There will be plenty to see and do so bring the family and kids for an excellent event to kickstart the Hillclimb season!
