The Sweep is back.
After a number of years not running, this Sunday sees the return of the well known Sweep Hillclimb in Dungarvan. This non championship event is being run for the first time by Imokilly Motor Club as a proving round as the club are hoping to get this event onto the championship calendar next year. The club have received almost 70 entries from both regular hillclimb competitors and rally competitors. The event will kick off with a practice run at 11am followed by the first timed run at 12:00 noon. Prize giving will take place on Sunday evening in the Seanachai Bar which is next to the hill.
